Coach Patrick Jiner, a Colorado native, husband, and father of four, is a revered figure in youth sports and education. His passion for working with young people began during his impactful tenure at Urban Peak, a homeless shelter for at-risk youth in Denver. This experience ignited a commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of young individuals. 

Coach Pat began coaching for the Arapahoe Youth League, where he spent several years molding young athletes in both basketball and tackle football. His coaching philosophy centered around fostering a love for the game, instilling discipline, and emphasizing teamwork. 

Coach Pat was also sought after by collegiate and professional athletes, where he honed his skills in developing elite players. Working with athletes at this level not only elevated his coaching acumen but also provided invaluable experience in managing the dynamics of high-performance teams. 

Currently a full-time middle school teacher at Lake Middle School in Denver Public Schools, Coach Pat specializes in 8th-grade math and science. His coaching philosophy extends to nurturing the holistic development of students, aiming to shape them into responsible adults. Coach Pat’s journey is a testament to the transformative power of education and sports. Through his tireless academic dedication, passion for the game of basketball, and commitment to mentorship, he has left an indelible mark on the lives of countless young athletes, shaping them into confident, disciplined individuals both in the classroom and on the basketball court. 

In 2023, Coach Pat embraced a new challenge by joining Amplify Hoops as the head basketball coach. Bringing a wealth of experience and passion for player development, he is an invaluable member of our team. 

Coach Pat extends heartfelt gratitude to parents and guardians for entrusting him with their young athletes. His mission is to not only develop athletic skills but also instill the values necessary for success in life. As a coach, mentor, and teacher, Coach Patrick Jiner continues to fuse his wealth of experience with a profound commitment to shaping the next generation into well-rounded individuals, leaving a lasting impact on their journey to adulthood.

Hailing from California, meet Coach Shawn June, a dedicated youth basketball coach with a passion for the game that began at the age of 4. Transitioning from player to mentor, Coach Shawn brings a wealth of experience from club level to high school, with a taste of collegiate play at Arizona Christian College. For Coach Shawn, basketball isn’t just about dribbling and shooting - its a powerful tool for instilling discipline, fostering leadership skills, and shaping young athletes into well-rounded individuals. Drawing from his own journey, Coach Shawn emphasizes the importance of being a student athlete, teaching not only the fundamentals of the game but also the values of integrity, teamwork, and perseverance. Through his coaching, Coach Shawn strives to help aspiring basketball players not only excel on the court, but also build a strong foundation of morals and character that will guide them throughout their lives.

Meet Coach Mike Beck, originally from Ithaca, NY, a husband and father of one, an advocate for education and youth advancement. With both a Bachelor's and Master’s Degree in secondary education from Colorado State University, Coach Mike brings a wealth of academic expertise, which he uses to translate to the student-athlete concept.

Beyond teaching, Coach Mike has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the development of young individuals through coaching youth sports for the past several years. Whether on the field or court, Coach Mike has been a dedicated mentor, instilling not only athletic skills but also essential values such as teamwork, discipline, and resilience. The coaching experience has provided a unique perspective on the importance of character development and the role sports play in shaping well-rounded individuals.

Coach Frank Jeantine, a native of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and a seasoned basketball enthusiast, brings a wealth of experience and passion to the youth basketball coaching arena. Coach Frank's journey in basketball spans across different cities and roles, shaping him into the dedicated coach he is today. 

Coach Frank's early years were marked by his family's move from Haiti to Queens, New York, and later to Columbus, Ohio, where his love for basketball developed. He excelled on the court in middle school and high school, launching him to participate as a practice player at the collegiate level, while pursuing a degree in computer science at Ohio University.

Transitioning from player to mentor, Coach Frank found himself drawn to coaching. He has worked as a wireless engineer at Dish/Boost, leveraging his technical skills in his professional life. Yet, coaching remains Frank's true passion. In Ohio, he coached middle school girls, instilling in them a strong work ethic and a deep understanding of the game.

Recognizing the need for skill development at a grassroots level, Coach Frank also coached a traveling 3v3 team for middle school boys, emphasizing fundamentals, attention to detail, and defensive prowess. His coaching philosophy centers around extracting the best from every player, both on and off the court.

Coach Frank is known for his meticulous approach to coaching, with a keen focus on player development, teamwork, and character building. He believes in the transformative power of basketball and aims to empower young athletes to reach their full potential through hard work and dedication.

In Denver, Colorado, Coach Frank continues to inspire and shape the next generation of basketball talent with his unwavering commitment and passion for the sport. As a coach, he strives to create a positive and nurturing environment where players can thrive and develop a lifelong love for basketball.

Colin Bilotta, a Colorado native hailing from Aurora, brings a wealth of basketball experience and a passion for mentoring young athletes to Amplify Hoops. A product of Grandview High School, Coach Colin excelled both on and off the court before transitioning into collegiate basketball.

During his time at Grandview, Coach Colin demonstrated exceptional talent and leadership, earning a spot as a three-year varsity player. His dedication and skill were recognized with selections to prestigious All-Star games, including the City All-Star Game and the Denver vs. Aurora All-Star Game during his senior year. Additionally, Coach Colin was honored with a place in the top 64 league in Colorado, a testament to his outstanding abilities.

Coach Colin's basketball journey continued at Wartburg College, where he currently plays college basketball. Under the mentorship of renowned coaches such as Michael Rogers at Grandview and Dick Peth at the collegiate level, Colin not only honed his skills but also absorbed invaluable basketball knowledge.

Beyond the court, Coach Colin is committed to the holistic development of young athletes. He believes in instilling life lessons through basketball, emphasizing the importance of academic excellence, character development, and family values. Coach Colin is passionate about nurturing the next generation of basketball players, guiding them not only in their athletic pursuits but also in becoming respectful and responsible individuals.

Coach Colin aspires to share his experiences and expertise with aspiring young athletes across Colorado. His ultimate goal is to empower youth to reach their fullest potential, both in sports and in life. Building strong relationships with players and their families is paramount to Coach Colin, ensuring that his impact extends far beyond the basketball court.

With his sights set on coaching at the Division 1 level in the future, Coach Colin Bilotta is poised to make a lasting impact on Amplify Hoops, inspiring and guiding the next generation of basketball stars in Colorado.

Coach Rubens Simon brings a unique blend of passion, experience, and dedication to his role as a Coaching Associate with Amplify Hoops. Originally from Connecticut with roots tracing back to Haiti, Coach Simon's journey is one of resilience and commitment to the game of basketball.

A graduate of Castle View High School and Northwest Kansas Tech College, Coach Simon honed his skills on the court as a collegiate player. He understands the game from the inside out, having competed at a high level himself. Off the court, Coach Simon excels as a paintless dent repair technician, showcasing his attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Coach Simon's decision to transition into coaching reflects his desire to give back to the sport that has shaped his life. Despite limited coaching experience, he possesses a natural affinity for mentoring and motivating young athletes. His ability to connect with players, coupled with his talent for identifying and refining individual skills, promises to be a valuable asset to the Amplify Hoops organization.

Beyond basketball, Coach Simon is a devoted father, finding joy in spending time with family. His hobbies extend to the basketball court, where he continues to play and refine his skills. Coach Simon also enjoys fitness training, playing pool, and following a variety of sports teams, including the Dallas Cowboys, Lakers, and Yankees.

Coach Simon's enthusiasm for all sports underscores his versatile approach to coaching. With a keen eye for player development and a genuine passion for the game, Coach Simon is poised to make a lasting impact on the young athletes of Amplify Hoops. His commitment to turning weaknesses into strengths and his people-centric approach make him an invaluable addition to the coaching staff.
